About Befriending
What does the befriending and telephone befriending service offer? The service provides volunteers who can: offer companionship and relieve isolation provide an important link with the local community support carers to get out and about in the community visit the carer in their own home provide support through a telephone befriending service offer befriending to young carers provided support to carers of all ages through group work facilitated by the Carers Befriending Project and Carers Centre.
