Not everyone wants to get involved in the same way. Here are a few examples of the volunteering oportunities which are on offer:-
 

Volunteer Befrienders for Adult Carers

Befriend carers who live in Falkirk district or Clackmannanshire and offer one to one support.

Volunteer Befriender for Young Carers

Befriend young carers, under the age of 18, who live in Falkirk district or Clackmannanshire and offer one to one support.

Group Activities Volunteer

Support carers who live in Falkirk district and Clackmannanshire through a range of group activities organised by the Carers Befriending Project and the Carers Centre.   These groups are the Men's Group, Women's Group and the Time Out Groups for young carers under the age of 18 years.

Telephone Befriender

Provide a telephone befriending service to carers, including young carers, who live in Falkirk district or Clackmannanshire.

Management Committee
 
The Carers Befriending Project is managed by Central Carers Association, who are also looking for volunteers to become members of the Management Committee.   If you:
  • have experience of fund raising
  • have experience of strategic planning
  • are in the 18-30 age group
  • are a carer parent
